The Enemy formed in late 1984 with

Joey Offbeat (Blanton) on Vox/guitar,

Chris "Fuzz" Mekow on drums/vox,

Lee Carr on lead guitar/vox and Kelly

Butler (Hard Corps) on bass. Kelly was

Erich Hubner. Lee and Erich would quit

the band just as this recording was finished.

2 weeks later in late 1985, they were replaced

by Robert Logue and Oscar Rice. The Enemy

in this formation played gigs opening for 10,000

Maniacs, Alex Chilton and The Red Hot Chili

Peppers before changing their name to

The Royal Court of China in Jan. 1986.

The lineup on this recording is Joe, Chris, Lee

& Erich. The Enemy recorded 10 songs with

Chip Chilton doing a fine job recording and

engineering on a reel to reel 4 track.
