01-09-2006, 9:33 AM Therion Joined on 01-09-2006 Posts 5 A rare gig Original Royal Court of China lead guitarist Oscar Rice and vocalist Rebecca Stout made a rare live appearance on Friday night, January 6 at Spin, a club in east Nashville.  This was the first new project and appearance by the two since the demise of their band The Shakers over ten years ago. (Rebecca now lives in Los Angeles, while Oscar remains in Nashville.)  The abbreviated but well-received show was to introduce their new CD "On the Road Alone", which they have released under the moniker of the "Hendersonville Song Company". The record is available for listening and purchase on CDbaby for anyone who is interested.  This is a very quiet record, on which Oscar plays not only guitar, but also piano and glockinspiel.     Report
